Today we planted a tree in memory of a lovely child Rebekah's. I only knew her for a short time as she just started in my son's class. She was always happy and smiling. Her warmth touch my soul. The process of planting the tree, digging the hole, covering it with dirt, giving it mulch gave me comfort. I watched as the adults and children took turns doing their part. Some jumping right in, others needing to take their time and some standing on the side. We all participated in some way. I pray for peace today and healing of all the special children like Rebekah out there. And healing for Rebekah's friends and family. We will never forget you as your short time here touched our hearts. Thank you Rebekah and may your sunny face fill our hearts and minds today.
