The spirit of a tree

Jeremiah loves pine trees, to the point that he looks like a old nestea comercial where he will take the "pine tree plunge." He gently rubs the tree with his hands, looks at it then turns his back and gently leans in.  It is all very carefully done.  I wish I knew what he and the tree are speaking about.

Trees are amazing and beautiful.  Whole communities live and thrive on trees from insects, birds, animals, and humans. Yet I had never considered the spiritual guidance a tree can give until Jeremiah.

Now as I see a tree I gently talk and reach up to appreciate it's beauty and am thankful. Peace!
