Romans 8:26 In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us through wordless groans.
Today as Jeremiah and I prayed for those with mental illness and their families..Jeremiah gently grabbed my head and groaned. I thought of this verse and how the Holy Spirit enables us to pray even in our groaning.
As Jeremiah held my head and groaned we continued praying and then broke out into song and thanksgiving. We hope you are able break into song this morning as a result of knowing God is listening to your groaning.
