Lessons from Coach Jeremiah

We walked today as a family for Dot to Dot- pediatric brain tumor research. We led the back happily taking our time, making conversation with each other and those we met along the way. Our little group kept at it and saw how just taking the time to do something together can help inspire others and ourselves.

We walked the pace depending on Jeremiah's desire for walking. He did well only sitting down once along the way. He sang, complained, said hi and mostly held our arms as we walked and walked and walked.

I haven't walked that slow in a long time but it was good. Because of our pace we were able to laugh and connect. Funny how we hurry every where and for what? To wait at the red light, stop sign, construction team, computer to boot up? Ah today's lesson from Coach Jeremiah leader of our team was take your time and enjoy the journey.

We sang several songs along the way. Walking on Sunshine was one!
